The Ol' Stun and Punch Trick

The Agency shows off some stealthy co-op gameplay.

The Agency is a curious beast. Although it’s a massively multiplayer game (MMO) that’ll feature the usual unlockable skills and upgrades, it also rewards real-world accuracy and reflexes. This is opposed to refining a shot or cast rotation like most MMOs demand, meaning a bullet in the head will do more damage than in the foot, and unlocking a door involves a quick puzzle game rather than a boring ten second cast time.

It isn’t a strictly first-person shooter game, however. Players can switch between third-person and first-person perspectives, on the fly, so one can choose whichever feels the most comfortable in any given situation. It’ll be most interesting to see what the differences are between the console (PlayStation 3) and Windows version.

Anyway, it’s been almost a year since we saw footage of the title, and this year’s E3 has brought a bunch of new demonstrations. This time around, we’re shown some of the co-operative features of the game, as well as a brief look at its stealthy side.
