Enemy Territory veteran unveils Bethesda-published game.
As E3 approaches, we are seeing more and more teasing of upcoming titles. While, most of the time, a CGI trailer with no information is virtually useless, this one is notable because of the pedigree behind the game.
Brink is the game, and it’s being developed by Enemy Territory veteran Splash Damage and published by Bethesda. Bethesda had already stated that Splash Damage was working on a genre-busting tile, and the name leaked out when it was trademarked ahead of time. As for what Brink is, it’s sci-fi, and if the concept art found wall-papering the official website is anything to go by, it involves water and people running away from soldiers. We can assume it will be a first-person shooter of some sort because, well, that’s what Splash Damage does.
Concept Art: From the Brink website, this is the only image released so far for the game.
There will likely be more clarity brought during E3. For now, however, there is this trailer. It doesn’t say much, but it does beg the question of WTF is going on with that dude’s forehead.
